Cough, Cough, Cough....err, Ho Ho Ho!

Like many families in Colorado, we've spent much of December under the weather. I'm not sure if it is because it has been unseasonably warm, or if it is just a bad season. Pray for snow!

I traveled two weeks in a row and Kelsey had the pleasure of taking each boy to urgent care on Sunday while I was on an airplane. Whew.

But, in true Andersen fashion, we're not going to let ear infections, antibiotics, vomiting, fevers, and sinus infections get us down! (well, maybe for a couple weeks...) We're now on the mend, mostly, and we're full fledged into the holiday spirt!

We visited Santa at the Frisco Historic Park and Museum on December 9 and our oldest was super into him and talked his ear off and the little one, well not so much. Maybe next year.

Our tree is up and is one of our prettiest ones yet! We've been getting a live tree the last few years and won't go back now! Our oldest helped with the decorations and somehow, my perfectionist self has managed to not move a single one. "Operation Relax a bit Mom" is underway. Ha!

Last Christmas tree in this house!

Last Christmas tree in this house!

After making countless walking loops in our neighborhood, a new tradition for 2017 is to drive around and look at the lights outside our neighborhood with all the windows down and Christmas music on the radio. We all bundle up and cruise around and pick our favorite house of the evening.

What are some of your favorite family traditions?

Sending warm (and healthy!) holiday greetings your way!
