We'll see you soon, city.

Final things packed. Check.

Closing. Check.

Mortgage paid. Check.

A big start toward funding the 9,290 home. In the bank.

We spent the last week at Bear Creek Lake Park in one of the little cabins. It was amazing (even with having to walk to the bath house and pay a $1 to take a shower). We brought clothes, food, 2 balls, 2 trucks, and bikes for the family. After packing and moving for what has felt like forever, this amount of stuff around us feels great.

Our cozy cabin.

Kelsey and I both worked this past week, but it still feels like our stress level is starting to drop from the busyness of moving and selling the house.

The boys played so well together. Never bored. And, mostly happy until one brother pokes the other brother with a stick. But, that's part of having a brother, right?

We had friends over, ate lots of marshmallows, and kept the boys up past their bedtime. We slept in sleeping bags with the windows open to let the beautiful Colorado air. It was a great week.

Now, it is Sunday morning. And we're waking up in Frisco.

I think this whole leaving the city thing is going to feel much more real this afternoon. For basically 5 years we've been driving up to Summit County almost every weekend. We would pack up Friday, then pack up to return to Lakewood on Sunday afternoon.

Any guesses on how many hours we have spent driving up and back?

We hope your family is having a great weekend too! Keep us posted on your adventures!
